This is my new hat. I did look in the woman’s section and found some nice hats that would keep the fall chill off your head but I am not looking to keep the fall chill off my head but the cold Canadian winter so the men’s hats were for me.  I am not one of the chick girls running up the side walk like in the Old Navy commercials but I guarantee you that I am toasty warm!

And here is my daughter sporting her new Smitten Mittens made by a genius in Toronto. While the rest of us moms grumbled, complained and  swore under our breath after our dear child lost the mittens an hour before getting home or we went looking for the lost mitten in the snow for the 10 time in 20 minuets.  Anna from January Baby went to her sewing machine and did something about it.  So here are the mittens that will NOT fall off! No more tangled mitten strings in the car seat, no more lost mittens, more time tiring the kids out in the snow and less time tiring the mom’s out looking for lost mittens. By the way we did go outside.
