I have been asked since the New Year what projects I have for 2008. To be honest last year was so exciting with two trips to British Columbia, my sister staying with me for two months and my friend Suzan visiting, that the year looks bleak in comparison. However, what 2008 may lack in travel and company it just may prove to be more adventurous. Because the humdrum of entertaining children, making dinner, with at best one child crying, or getting out the door in an orderly friendly fashion is an adrenalin rush in my world. My scholar is trying to finish his masters by September and with that (or if) comes the questions of what, when and where to live and work. However, I do have a few things I would like to learn, like develop my writing and computer skills through the median of my blog, grow bean sprouts, sew a quilt, organize my pictures, follow a pattern, put a zipper into something,… be nice to my neighbor, if I must, make the cranky cashier at the grocery store smile, well at least once I can’t do miracles can I? Find a cure for cancer, solve world hunger, give peace a chance, ya-da-ya-da. Do you have any ideas? I would be no good in the Army mind you.
